Brought to you by Bel Aire School and the PTA!
Get ready to dazzle, delight, and wow the crowd – because Bel Aire is bringing back the talent show for the first time in years! That’s right . . . it’s your moment to shine on stage and show off what makes you uniquely awesome.
Are you a magician-in-the-making? A future Beethoven? Can you sing like Taylor Swift or dance like you’ve got backup dancers in your living room? Whether you juggle, joke, tumble, or twirl – we want to see it!
Here’s the scoop:
Registration opens right after spring break and will run from April 16–23.
The registration link will be shared after break – stay tuned!
You’ll tell us about your act, who’s performing (solo or group), and what music or equipment you’ll be using.
Costumes, makeup, and props? That’s all you – so start planning!
Time Limits:
On-stage acts: max 2 minutes
Off-stage talents (like animation, skiing, etc.): max 1 minute
Piano performances are limited – if we get more pianists than the stage can handle, we’ll review them case-by-case.
Mandatory Talent Check-in (a.k.a. a quick check-in to keep things school-friendly):
Tentative talent check-in date: April 30
Can’t attend the talent check-in in person? No problem – just send us a self-taped video of your act. We understand this is a work in progress! The performance on the talent check-in date doesn’t need to be polished and perfect.
Not into performing, but have the charm of Billy Crystal hosting the Oscars?
We’re also looking for a few fabulous MCs to host the show! You can let us know on the registration form if that’s more your vibe.
Rehearsals?
Optional practices will be held on Wednesdays in May
There will be a mandatory tech rehearsal on May 28 from 1:35-3:35
The big show is on Thursday, May 29 during a school assembly
(Evening performance TBD – stay tuned!)
We cannot wait to see the incredible talent our Bel Aire students have to offer – it’s going to be a show to remember!
